The role entails working across multiple brands and digital assets to drive the digital marketing strategy via an innovative, integrated and data-driven approach. The Search Marketing Manager will optimise multiple digital channels and work on coordinated, engaging and targeted digital communications that deliver on KPI's and objectives around consumer awareness, campaign objectives and online customer acquisition. You will report into the SEO & Digital Media Team Lead You will be responsible for the below:

* Develop, execute and evaluate marketing plans across multiple digital channels including PPC, SEO, social media, display, video, email and content marketing.
* Analyse, interpret, and leverage data/testing to develop marketing plans, make pragmatic decisions and execute programs to deliver on campaign objectives.
* Continuous testing of digital channels, creatives and ad content to improve performance, conversations and spend efficiencies.
* Work closely with the SEO Team for an integrated Search Strategy.
* Work closely with the Digital Analytics team to gain understanding of audience segments, customer journeys and be able to action these insights.
* Drive campaign insights such as query behaviour, audience segmentation, winning ad message themes, and successful landing page strategies
* Ensure correct tagging, tracking methodologies, systems, processes and technologies are in place to facilitate reporting of channel attribution, consumer awareness and lead generation.
* Work closely with the CRO team to run A/B tests to improve PPC performance and conversation rates.
* Use tools and digital data sources to identify online trends and insights to optimise spend and improve performance and marketing efficiencies.
* Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against objectives and KPI's.
* Lead and manage our digital marketing agencies to deliver robust strategies, campaigns, reporting and targets.
* Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget including supplier fees and digital media spend.
* Creating and present media plans, business forecasts and digital media buying scenarios.
* Work with insights, policy, comms, marketing, digital, partnerships and strategy to understand business objectives, KPI's and work on integrated marketing plans.

To be successful on application, it is expected that you will be able to demonstrate the below: -

* 3+ years in managing digital marketing campaigns.
* Hands on experience in using Google Adwords and other Ad Management platforms and PPC research tools.
* Proven track record within a digital marketing remit at an operational and strategic level.
* Hands on ad placement experience across all major digital platforms including Adwords and Facebook.
* Hands on experience of research and audience targeting using sophisticated data techniques and creation of persona and customer journeys.
* Demonstrable knowledge/experience of paid search, SEO and Social channel implementation and strategy.
* Full understanding of complex KPI dependencies, impact of marketing messages and creatives, and landing page optimisation.
* Ability to set up Google Analytics goals and events and interpret customer journey data to inform campaigns.
* Hands on experience with Marin, DoubleClick, Kenshoo, Wordstream, Acquisio, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Adalysis, Optmyzr and similar ad management platforms.
* Understanding of the use of a range of market research tools such as Brandwatch and Hitwise, particularly in relation to advertising/branding and audience targeting.
* Commercially minded, highly numerical and strong analytical skills.

* Experience in planning, developing and delivering digital marketing content via a wide range of channels.
* Autonomous and results driven initiative taker.
* Good team member and able to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Excellent verbal and written communications.
* Experience in working in the Financial Services or Pensions sector.
