As the Community and Events Project Manager you will lead a large 12 month project for a leading UK mental health charity. In this role you will be responsible for managing all activities for this major project and ultimately aiming to increase fundraising.

Client Details

One of the UK's leading mental health charities located in North East London. They work on a national level to promote health and well-being.


As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing events and activities related to this major project. This will include but are not limited to:

* Planning and managing community activities and events aimed to engage the new and existing supporters and increase fundraising

* Lead on the fundraising strategy of the project and ensure targets are met

* Input on marketing and recruiting strategies

* Ensuring the project reflects the values of the charity

* Managing portfolio budgets and developing relevant reports

* Line managing a team of two Events Fundraising Coordinators

* Manage key relationships with internal teams and key agencies and suppliers

* Ensure financial and non-financial KPI's are met


A passionate Community and Events Project Manager with great experience managing large scale fundraising campaigns. You will have experience running an events fundraising team and be able to collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to achieve great results. Other essential criteria includes:

* Experience running large scale fundraising events and activities

* A history of achieving fundraising targets

* Experience managing project budgets

* Ability to work effectively with internal teams and agencies to achieve great results

* A proven track record of engaging local audiences including businesses, individuals, organisations and policy makers with a view to increasing donations.

Job Offer

Our client is willing to offer a 12-month fixed term contract with a competitive salary of £41,826, in addition to a host of other benefits.
