Global manufacturing business based in Oldham looking for a PR & Communications Manager to join their busy team.

The role of the PR & Communications Manager is to manage the PR and communications advertising program, maximising appropriate exposure of the brand to target customer groups through all channels and includes:

To contribute to various forms of marketing communications such as literature, editorial and exhibitions to ensure a tone of consistency runs through all communications

To further develop activity in digital media platforms

To organise and manage a system for the collation of information and images to provide a continual supply of press releases to the UK market

To maintain relationships with key editors to maximise the amount of editorial and special pieces placed in the media

To manage an advertising program to support the objectives of the marketing department including management of the creation of artwork and logistics of booking the schedule

Develop our presence through social media and new media and develop the participation of colleagues in this channel

To monitor the level of coverage received via all channels, traditional and digital through a full analytics package

Responsibility for production and use of video content in collaboration with marketing colleagues, for use on both our website and other on-line media


The successful PR & communications Manager will have previous experience of working in a b2b environment, ideally manufacturing and be able to build relationships with local and national press as well as key stakeholders internally.

You will also have digital PR experience and some internal communications exposure.
