An opportunity for an ambitious and energetci individual to join a small, dynamic team and to play a central role in a growing business. The main aim is to drive growth in the company by enhancing and professionalising how the company is presented to potential clients.

Client Details

A growing consultancy, established in 2012 - focused on working with leadership teams to shape organisational culture. Clients are typically large companies with international operations.


The role will encompass contributing towards the BD and generation of B2B sales leads and leading the development of the opportunity pipeline though a variety of activities.


1. Business Development and Lead Generation

2. Delivery and management of company's BD networking events


3. Development and production of company collateral and client sales material

4. Brand development and awareness through marketing initiatives

Business development and lead generation are the principal priorities in this role and will be executed and managed directly by the BD Manager in-house.

The role entails a mix of administrative and tactical day-to-day tasks, along with strategic planning and execution. Initially, you will solely be managing and executing the BD and Marketing function internally, alongside a part-time BD Researcher and through creating and managing relationships with external suppliers where we need to outsource capabilities.


* Proficient in the English language
* Confident communication, negotiation and influencing skills, both written and verbal
* Professional and presentable, both in person and on the phone as will be representing the company
* An ability to create positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders
* Commercially astute with a good understanding of marketing principles and BD process
* Process-orientated and inherently organised/methodical
* A structured, resourceful person who takes initiative with minimal supervision and is able to prioritise work effectively in a pressured environment
* Flexible and patience with an understanding of fluid demands where priorities change constantly, and methodologies are constructively challenged
* Energetic, supportive, empathetic and open-minded able to work with different personality types
* A natural tendency to collaborate and willingness to support others, so a positive 'can-do' attitude is vital
* Someone who is naturally client-oriented
* Previous exposure to a commercial and/or client-focused role
* Experience in a medium/large business (so they understand our clients' world and the dynamics and structure of a corporate) but also can demonstrate flexibility and dynamism

* A business or marketing degree and experience in a Consultancy is desirable, but not essential

Job Offer


Base salary: £35-45K (depending on experience)

Annual Individual Bonus: up to 20% of base salary

Additional annual company profit share
