My client, a public sector organisation based in Preston is recruiting a Graphic & Content Designer to join their media and engagement team. If you have both print and digital graphic design background and you are able to commit to a FTC role 9 month contract, which may become permanent, then please get in touch!

Key Responsibilities:
Developing creative and engaging designs from concept to delivery in line with agreed brand guidelines
To take the lead in identifying design requirements and producing materials for both internal and external print and digital platforms, which have a measurable impact
Creating a wide range of marketing communication materials ranging from corporate documents and campaign material to digital collateral e.g. infographics, GIFs, web and social media banners and artwork for social media channels including Snapchat and Instagram
Working alongside colleagues to produce engaging video and audio content for internal and external channels to meet campaign objectives
Responsibility for creating and adding images and graphics to channels including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat. To include knowledge of targeting material to different audiences and scheduling content to maximise reach
Sourcing suitable graphics and images and editing them to meet design requirements
Keeping abreast of design trends and technology and developing own skills to ensure the brands content remains relevant and engaging
Communicating with external suppliers including printers and advertising agencies to ensure that artwork is in the required technical format and meets brand guidelines
Ensuring digital channels are updated frequently with engaging and effective content, ensuring brand standards and content are consistent with strategy and materials are compliant with relevant legislatio
Key requirements:
A relevant Qualification in design
Demonstrable experience of producing high quality design work for a large organisation, both offline and online
Experience of designing for print, quality assuring content and evaluating effectiveness
Experience of designing for digital media channels, quality assuring content and evaluating effectiveness
Adobe InDesign, Acrobat Photoshop and Illustrator Skills
Experience of uploading images and video to digital channels and knowledge of content management systems
Experience of photography and video production
An understanding of traditional and digital marketing

Salary £26.5k (hourly rate £14.69ph)
9 months FTC potential to go permanent
Flexi hours 37.5 hour week
