I am currently working on an exclusive basis to recruit a Head of Marketing for a unique and historic retail organisation based in Stevenage, Herts. You will be responsible leading 5 direct reports and an overall department of 20 staff as my client goes through a period of change.

You will be responsible for leading my clients Marketing, Brand and Communication strategy which aims to drive customer traffic across all sales channels.

Key Duties

* Implementing the marketing objectives of the 5 year strategy and transforming the organisations marketing and communication strategy.
* Developing integrated marketing campaigns across all our communications' channels including email, web, mobile and social media in order to accelerate the transition to a digital-first business.
* Developing and implement the content strategy to ensure assets are the right quality and have the flexibility to deliver an effective multi-channel communication strategy.
* Managing Category led marketing campaigns (digital / print / sales programme) that demonstrate ROI, engage customers and drive traffic across all touch points.
* Plan, resource and reshape the marketing function to provide the capability required for the planned 5 year strategy.
* Implement a Brand Strategy.
* Manage effective PR.
* Develop a technology roadmap to ensure the effective delivery of CRM to provide the capability to create personalisation and active relationships with customers.
* Grow the active customer base through acquisition and reactivation.
* Generate insight to understand the competitor landscape.

The ideal candidate will have experience of:

* A leadership role within Marketing.
* Digital Marketing including social media.
* Development of effective brand, communications (PR) and marketing strategies across multi-channels.
* Devising CRM strategies to engage and acquire.
* Leading and developing business-wide projects.
* Track record of managing change
* Strong leadership.
