Senior Social Strategist for smart, innovative agency

You will help to lead the strategy from a social and content perspective for this large and iconic brand within an integrated planning team overseen by the Head of Planning. An important part of the role will be the ability to collaborate with
departments and disciplines from around the agency such as Advertising, Digital and CRM. This is a role that puts you at the heart of the agency and of bringing social and content marketing right into the centre of your client’s communications. It’s an exciting moment for this client, with everything from propositions to the way we communicate being redeveloped. You can be a driver of change on one of the most significant brands in the UK.
At least 4-6 years’ experience as a content, social or digital planner
Practical experience of planning and delivering social content campaigns, with detailed knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of each platform, their ad formats and relative pricing
Good knowledge of the planning toolkit: creative briefs, presentations, research, finding insights, data and measurement
Ability to identify insights from both modern and classic marketing tools, from social listening to brand tracking and everything in between
Can work collaboratively with creative teams, editorial and community managers to create great creative work that is social by design
Good understanding of developments and best practice in content marketing
Up to date and expert in social listening and management tools (e.g. Brandwatch or Netbase) and knows their strengths and weaknesses
Understanding of paid media planning and a pov on how to maximise the distribution opportunities for digital and social content development
