Description

The Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities;

* Build effective marketing plans and activities for datacentre product solutions that truly meet the needs of customers in close cooperation with Sales and further stakeholders

* Work directly with the Sales teams, with Channel and End-User customers to develop, manage and execute account based marketing programs supporting the business goals and objectives, and Datacentre Marketing Plan.

* A specific responsibility for increasing use and effectiveness of Social Media in external communications and utilising relevant tools for email and social media in conjunction with colleagues in EMEA

* Leverage central and local marketing programs to drive brand awareness; in conjunction with sales and wider marketing teams

* Prioritise, plan and manage the segment Marketing budget incl. MDF from strategic alliance partner. During business cycle manage Marketing spend and reporting in line with budget and business expectations.

* Responsible for driving PR in the channel media; drive quarterly briefings with the Sales Leadership team and PR

* Assist in the development and execution of events; leveraging the expertise of the central teams where appropriate.

* Develop and maintain constructive local relationships with strategic Alliance Partners appropriate to End-User sales.

* Own and maintain the reporting tools necessary to illustrate ROI achieved through the segment marketing plan activities.

* Be the representative within End-User sales management and End-User sales teams for the responsible areas.


Profile

The successful Marketing Manager should have the following skillset;

* A strong Marketing track record within a global technology environment
* Strong stakeholder management
* Ability to manage and work closely with agencies and other in-house Marketing teams
* Ability to work closely with/build relationships with the Sales functions
* Ability to build effective Marketing plans and oversee delivery
* develop and maintain relationship with strategic alliance partners- creating collaborative marketing plans.


Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of between £40k- £55k plus car allowance and bonus on an initial 12 month contract
