My client, an investment business based in Chester is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to assist in the planning, execution and optimisation of their website. To assist in promotion of products and services through digital channels. If you have a technical digital marketing background then please get in touch!

The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, be able to work on your own and hands on. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing, be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
* Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook, Linked In, Instagram etc.)
* Launch optimise online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
* Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation etc.)
* Update CRM system (sage) segment data, target data
* Market research, competitor analysis
* Email campaigns using mail chimp
* Writing website copy, working to brand guidelines
* Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organise their distribution through various channels
* Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
* Collaborate with external design agencies to improve user experience
* Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
* Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
* Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
* Promote brand awareness across online channels
* Making website amendments, product updates, new products etc

Skills Required:

* Must have recent experience working in a hands on Digital Marketing role
* Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
* Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords, Linkedin, email campaigns (mail chimp) and SEO/SEM - desirable
* Working knowledge of ad serving tools
* Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
* Excellent content creative writing skills - essential
* Analytical mindset and critical thinking
* Able to work in a stand alone role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of FSA regulations - desirable
