A leading NHS Trust in London are looking for a new permanent Associate Director of Marketing and Communications to join the team. First stage interviews will happen this week and it is a band 8d position.

Description

-They will advise the board and senior management team on the marketing and communications strategies

-They will set the marketing strategy

-They will drive effective marketing communications for internal and external audiences

-They will lead on marketing campaigns

-Work with the heads of marketing and communications to develop a channel optimisation strategy and oversee its delivery

-Ensure the ongoing performance effectiveness of marketing and its resources

-They will bring to live the brand vision and brand proposition together with lead the brand strategy

-They will determine the marketing budgets

-They will develop needs-based customer insight and segmentation processes and research

-Line management of a substantial Communications and Enquiry line function

-Manage across the Marketing and Communications team, bringing together team members who have not historically worked together before

-The role reports into the Director of Strategy


Profile

-Experience in marketing planning

-Experience of successfully leading a marketing team and delivering effective campaigns

-Experience of developing an effective strategy for an organisation's digital presence

-Experience of working with agencies, media strategy and buying, digital transformation

-Knowledge of marketing theory

-Knowledge of marketing, communications across channels, techniques- including digital, data and performance

-Broad understanding of a range of digital media tools

-Understanding of branding theory

-Planning and organisational skills to formulate long-term strategic plans involving uncertainty and which will affect the whole organisation

-Proven record of working to tight deadlines

-Ability to manage a budget

-Ability to evaluate marketing initiatives both quantitatively and qualitatively and ensure future initiatives are informed by this learning
