PR & Communications Manager - £25-28k - FTC till 31/12 with an excellent chance to go permanent

Your new company
I am honoured to be representing my client which is an Essex-based charity committed to providing free, person centred care to those affected by a life limiting illness.

Your new role
Working alongside the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be tasked with pro-actively increasing their profile and end of life care across both on and offline media. You will deliver both internal and external communications that support the organisations strategic objectives, working alongside fundraising, retail and patient focused areas whilst maintaining a consistent style and tone.
You will contribute to the charity's staff newsletter and corporate leaflets as well as managing the intranet. there will also be live cover of events and activities, as well as managing and creating engaging content for the website and external media communications, including digital.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
An education to a degree level in communications, PR or journalism.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills - a lyrical genius, no less.
Good knowledge of using social media to get your message across.
Demonstrable experience of Crisis Communications.
Multimedia and photography expertise.
Demonstrable experience of developing media strategies and relations.
Excellent time management skills,

This role has been created by the previous incumbent taking a secondment within the digital area of the organisation and offers an excellent opportunity to go permanent.
It pays a pro rata £25-28,000 and offers excellent benefits for the right candidate.
