Your new company
I am looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and highly organised with a strong attention to detail and ability to lead and motivate teams. You need experience of working across multiple and varied projects, achieving targets and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing the events fundraising function within the Community, Events & Fundraising Development team, implementing the events fundraising strategy to maximise the impact of fundraising activities.

Key responsibilities

* Planning, implementation and management of the Events Fundraising strategy with a focus on income generation and supporter experience
* Developing and reviewing the team's budgets ensuring key metrics are monitored and reported back monthly, quarterly and at reforecasts
* Managing delivery of the events fundraising portfolio through development of operational plans and evaluations and working effectively with internal stakeholders on operational functions/services
* Developing and reviewing the stewardship programme to maximize fundraising potential of supporters Monitoring objectives and dependence/risk through regular reporting to ensure financial and non-financial KPIs are met
* Managing the team and ensure staff have the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake their role effectively and are line managed in accordance with Mind's values, competencies, policies and procedures including supervision and appraisal.

What you'll need to succeed
The Events Fundraising Manager will be working closely with the Head of Community & Events Fundraising Marketing & Innovation to review the charities current active challenge event portfolio, building upon successes and exploring new opportunities as part of the short and long term strategy.

You will have relevant experience in fundraising event management in the charity sector with a track record of meeting income targets and generating new income.
You will have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, be an excellent organiser with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage budgets.

* Experience of line management and leadership.
* Experience Demonstrable and relevant management experience in fundraising within the voluntary and/or commercial sectors.
* Experience of project management including planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on performance involving multiple stakeholders and financial (income generating) and non-financial objectives.
* Experience of financial and budget management including planning, forecasting, monitoring, reviewing and reporting on budgets.
* Experience of providing excellent supporter stewardship programmes Experience of line managing staff including supporting and developing staff.
* Experience of monitoring and evaluating delivery of contracts/service level agreements by internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience of monitoring adherence to policies and procedures and relevant legislation Experience of managing change at an operational level
