An exciting and interesting role for an Account Exec or Account Manager with a proven track record within a communications agency. An interest in Public Affairs is a must.


Client Details

My Client provides communications support and advice, running successful outreach campaigns to media, Westminster, Whitehall and wider stakeholder networks, specialising in strategy development, public affairs, media campaigns, market research, evidence development and stakeholder management.


Description

As the role of Account Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Carrying out and coordinating the delivery of strategies and activities as detailed by directors, ensuring that activity and objectives are being met and that accounts are well organised.
* Leading engagement programmes across Westminster, Whitehall, and government, ensuring that client's strategic priorities are articulated to key decision makers.
* Developing a deep understanding of your clients and their operating environments and thus be able to use this knowledge to help solve client problems.
* Alongside senior directors, developing strategies and activities for clients and overseeing their delivery; quality controlling all aspects of the client's programmes.
* Acting as the key point of contact for your clients.
* Effectively manage the account team for each account.
* Engage with the media on some campaigns and support the delivery of PR campaigns.
* Conducting highly accurate research around identified client priority areas.
* Developing and signing off high quality materials for clients.
* Producing concise and effective reports, newsletters, campaign material and press releases.
* Identify and support growth opportunities in existing accounts.
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
* Playing a key role in the development of new business proposals and pitches.
* Forgeing strong links with clients, potential clients and key stakeholders.
* Attending industry and networking events.
