The Marketing Executive reports to the Category and Marketing Manager. They oversee the day to day marketing activities for the department.

The Key responsibilities for the Marketing Executive are:

* Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns within agreed timescales

* Planning and project managing Company exhibitions events and evaluating their success

* Preparing, planning and project managing the publication of all publicity material to maximise brand promotion

* Writing copy for all marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites

* Creating and developing new innovative ways to communicate the company message to their existing customers

* Using the full marketing mix for the company's marketing communications

* Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each

* Monitoring ongoing campaign, exhibition or event spend against the budget, keeping accurate records, highlighting where variances occur and producing a summary at the end of an activity

* Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met

* Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with reference to pricing, presentation and promotion

* Developing and implementing an internal marketing programme

* Assisting with any other marketing tasks, marketing projects and activities as requested

* Ensure that all Masco operating values and compliance procedures are adhered to at all times, including Quality management, Health and Safety, Legal stipulations, Environmental policies and general duty of care


The successful Marketing Executive will have:


* Previous experience in a similar role

* Strong project management, time management and organisation skills

* Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends

* Design skills and experience of at least one of the following; print and/ or digital design

* Excellent command of written English and strong copywriting skills Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop

* Able to build relationships and communicate at all levels within the organisation and provide support to remote stakeholders

* Degree in Marketing or equivalent relevant experience (desirable)

* Chartered Institute of Marketing CIM qualification or similar or equivalent relevant experience (desirable)

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)


* Understanding of customer segmentation

* Sound understanding of marketing principles

* Strong understanding of the principles of accurate spelling and grammar
