A newly created role for a Customer Marketing Manager to join a growing Marketing Department of an international market leader in their industry based in Bury.


Client Details

My client is an international market leader that provides a number of testing schemes and reference materials that support a wide range of sectors including food and beverage, environment, pharmaceutical and more.

They have an international presence with offices across the Globe. The Customer Marketing Manager will be based in Bury.


Description

The Customer Marketing Manager will to develop a customer centric marketing proposition in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.

They will understand the customer base across the business, drive initiatives for new customer acquisition and support in the delivery of increasing market share in their specialist area.

The Customer Marketing Manager will work closely with sales teams to implement content for highly engaging customer communication, promotional programmes and sales tool kits that drive revenue.



Key responsibilities include:

* Understanding customer drivers to support the go to market strategies that increase market share and improve customer engagement





* Analyse data, deliver relevant insights that enable improvements to the sales and marketing plans





* Monitor sales performance of the portfolio, understand the various sectors, product and regions/ countries performance to make improvements and share best practise





* Implement compelling messaging to cross sell products





* Ensuring the voice of the customer and needs of the diverse market are incorporated into strategy development in the wider business





* Implement a go to market strategy for new products





* Work with sales teams to deliver sales tool kits relevant to customer groups and geographical markets





* Build awareness of market drivers to both internal and external stakeholders





* Ensure customer marketing and go to market strategies are the core of the annual business planning process


Profile

The successful Customer Marketing Manager will:

* Have a proven track record in a customer marketing role





* Have the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders and sales teams in different geographies





* Have the ability to influence key stakeholders across all levels





* Have strong analytical skills to interrogate market and sales data to provide insights and actionable plans. Ability to use Excel proficiently





* Excellent organisation skills





* Be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines





* Excellent communication skills





* A background or formal qualification in chemistry or related science would be advantageous but not essential





* Commercial experience in food, beverage or environmental analysis market would be advantageous





* Additional language skills are advantageous





* Having an understanding of global market differences would be advantageous





* Be customer focused both internally and externally





* Be enthusiastic and proactive in their approach





* Be commercially astute


Job Offer

Salary up to £40,000 plus benefits
