We are delighted to be working with an award-winning travel business based in the West Midlands.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract role covering a maternity cover.

With an instantly recognisable brand loved by many, they are market leaders, delivering sustained growth. With an expanding product portfolio underpinned by excellent customer service they have ambitious plans for the future.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen as Content Manager to join their marketing team on a FTC.

This is a chance for you to work with an iconic brand and, a business that is focussed on growth.

Working with the Head of Campaigns, key responsibilities include:

* Creating engaging copy that supports the brand, setting them apart from their competitors and bringing to life the experiences, enticing prospective customers to want to book with them.

* Writing copy for new tours - to include full brochure copy as well as multiple smaller formats, such as copy for adverts and other marketing materials - will require close collaboration with the product teams and researching the destinations and places visited
* Providing copy for any tour/cruise updates, such as a new personalise your holiday, a new town or place being visited, a new hotel etc
* Writing any copy required for mailings and brochures
* Plus copywriting of emails, web pages, agency sales and groups marketing collateral

* Assisting with the creation of direct mailings, brochures and magazines, from initial briefing through to final sign-off - checking proofs and co-ordinating amends.
* Assist with any requests for images from agency sales, groups, PR, etc.

Key Skills & Attributes:

* Industry background: Ideally you will have previous experience working for a travel business but will certainly need to have a keen interest in it, and the culture and history behind travel.
* Copywriting Skills: a natural talent and creative with words
* Communication Skills: both written and verbal skills
* Techniques: Natural negotiation techniques and ability to influence.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good awareness of the commercial drivers of the business
* Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external third-party contacts
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing communications capacity
