Description

Reporting to the Senior Communications Officer, the successful candidate will partner with operational leaders to engage our people, our communities, our guests, our business partners and our market stakeholders. Through social media, advertising, newsletters and more, the Communications Officer will deliver creative and inspiring internal and external communications for venues in the Somerset region in line with communications strategy and local business plans.

This is an office-based role in Bruton with some flexibility to work from home.


Profile

The Communications Officer will:

* Demonstrate a value led persona
* Demonstrate a service-oriented personality with a desire to high standards of customer care
* Have high standards of quality delivery
* Be organised and administratively able
* Be capable of multi-tasking, troubleshooting and strong time-keeping
* Be an excellent communicator in all its forms.
* Be creative in design and application
* Have experience of WordPress, or similar
* Have experience using Marketing tools including Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
* Have experience of Mailchimp, or similar
