The company is a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial. Developing and selling innovative web applications to procurement professionals all over the world including; Liverpool Football Club, PaddyPower, Fiat Chrysler, G4S and Travis Perkins to name but a few.


Key responsibilities for the Direct Marketing Executive are:

Undertake content led lead generation marketing projects for the benefit of the company. You will likely be involved in a variety of tasks, but will mainly be responsible for specific digital lead generating workstreams such as email marketing, content amplification and direct social media marketing.

Major Responsibilities:

* Direct Social Media Marketing
* Being responsible for the social media channels
* Scheduling content on specific social accounts
* Analysing, monitoring and measuring social media performance
* Writing relevant and engaging posts to maximise interaction on social media etc
* Creating and nurturing leads through social media channels
* Optimising and improving the conversion and handover of leads
* Liaising with external agencies to achieve targeted goals
* Content Amplification - generating leads through other content led direct activities
* Finding new methods to generate engagement from content such as surveys etc
* Organising and assisting with the development of strategic email campaigns
* Optimising and improving the interaction rate of communications
* Planning and developing bespoke strategies for niche's or target demographics
* Assisting with other content led current lead generation activities
* Ability to assist with other marketing activities

Other duties:

We would expect a suitable candidate to be flexible and support other aspects of marketing and the wider business.


The successful Direct Marketing Executive based in Gloucester will have:

* Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and relationships
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Energetic & self-motivated with a strong team ethic
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels of the organisation
* Able to quickly forge relationships with suppliers and partners
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time whilst paying attention to details
* Excellent IT skills and passionate about technology
* Clean and valid driving licence
* Need to be eligible to work in the UK

Desirable Experience:

* Educated to degree level or similar
* Previous experience working as part of a marketing or sales team
* Knowledge of digital marketing and social media
* Experience with different design tools

Experience and Qualifications:

Ideally looking for an individual who is a graduate who has experience with managing social media channels.
