Assistant Marketing Manager
We are seeking to appoint a talented, dynamic and creative individual to come and join us at the University of Salford as an Assistant Marketing Manager. This is a key role which will contribute to the development and implementation of the University’s strategic aims. You will be supporting colleagues in the marketing team and work directly with staff in our School of Arts and Media, taking responsibility for key projects and campaigns to drive student recruitment, deepen existing relationships and strengthen the University’s profile.
Reporting to a Marketing Manager, you will support the delivery of marketing and engagement plans, with emphasis on creativity, innovation, efficiency and return-on-investment. Key target markets include existing and potential students home/EU and international, undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) and their influencers, business and industry, the academic research community and the Salford regional community.
You will have relevant experience project managing multiple large-scale campaigns and event promotion; working across the full marketing mix, including the delivery of integrated, measurable solutions in the digital and social media space, and you will enjoy developing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. This role is an ideal opportunity for a creative and passionate marketer looking for in-house experience in a complex organisation.
The role will commence in August 2019, fixed term for a 12 month period.
