Head of Marketing Automation
As one of the leading players in the UK market, our client has a strong reputation of working in a bespoke manner with clients across financial services, utilities, telecommunication and retail sectors. Reporting to the Marketing Director this is a high profile and challenging opportunity for a forward thinking and innovative marketing operations specialist.
You will take full responsibility for the end to end management, analysis and reporting on sales funnel data, conversion rates, marketing contribution to revenue and other related metrics by leveraging the company’s CRM, marketing automation and other analytics and reporting systems.
Establishing and then continuously improving processes for lead generation, scoring, lead nurturing and email marketing. The position will also be in charge of building, segmenting and testing a comprehensive prospect database across industries and geographies based on marketing automation systems that will support all outbound campaigns.
You’ll have built a strong understanding of B2B lead/funnel models and theory, reporting, principles of effective lead management and account-based marketing. You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in B2B marketing operations preferably within the technology sector with strong focus on CRM and marketing automation system integration, database development and analytics/ reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience of directly implementing or managing lead/campaign processes in a marketing automation led business. Experience of analytical funnel reporting using Salesforce or Marketo in collaboration with account management, sales, sales operations, finance.
Strong understanding of the Sales Cycle and solid experience working in a commercial and revenue driven environment is key. This high profile role demands someone who is commercially focused and a true strategic thinker able to drive and deliver a sales operations strategy and agenda. Coupled with a demonstrable track record of achievement in setting up and developing engaging and successful operational platforms. You will be an exceptional commercial thinker and stakeholder, with innate leadership and influencing skills and an extremely high level of imagination.
