The Digital Content Specialist will lead the creation, management, commissioning and delivery of content on websites and social media channels.

Client Details

Their sites and unique collection of objects tell the human stories of modern history, both domestic and internationally, and the way it's shapes the world we live in.

Ran as a not for profit, this client is based in Central London and is renowned as an international leader in Arts & Heritage.


As a Digital Content Specialist, your role will include:

* Creating and commission a wide-range of digital content in line with the digital strategy, and relevant for key target audiences.

* Act as a point of contact between the Digital Engagement team and the organisation at large, maintaining and advising on standards of quality required for website publication and maintenance.

* Coordinate work with other teams with a digital remit, including Communications, Press and Public Engagement, to promote sharing of resources and assets.

* Ensure the continued delivery of a strand of strategically planned, audience- and search activity-focused 'evergreen' content, developing the ongoing mission and historical publication remit.

* Develop and curate content for digital products as required and organise quality control of content produced by external and internal contributors.


To be successful and enjoy your time as a Digital Content Specialist, you'll need:

* Extensive experience in digital content development, and campaign management across multiple platforms and international markets.

* Sound understanding of digital channels: particularly web and social, with email a bonus.

* In-depth experience managing agencies and budgets to achieve continuous improvement.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively, build trust and achieve success with colleagues of all levels, cultural and geographic backgrounds.

* Strong planning and project management skills and ability to deliver multiple complex campaigns on time and to budget.
