This maternity cover position is the marketing lead for this luxury goods brand with a rich heritage in fine jewellery, know for it's creativity & design.

Our client a truly international luxury business with a strong brand and heritage.


The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for the following activity:

* Planning and delivering annual advertising strategy and schedule

* Managing and developing Marketing Executive

* Managing cooperative media plans with Wholesale partners, taking ownership of budgets and supporting creative assets

* Managing the marketing calendar and product launches, including but not limited to press releases, events, newsletters, social media, and website updates.

* Managing marketing support for Wholesale accounts, including but not limited to website content, marketing materials, events and client communication.

* Ensuring consistency of brand assets across all platforms, to include print/digital campaigns, social media, website and client communications.

* Managing marketing support for key stakeholders (Retail, Wholesale, CRM, website). This includes direct mail, client materials, events, trade shows, photography of new products

* Managing marketing support for company-operated POS, e.g. Concessions, Boutiques


* Develop relationships with the key media

* Manage relevant brand updates, i.e. press releases for new stores, products, events, marketing initiatives etc.

* Manage marketing and communication events, e.g. press previews, product launches etc.

* Manage 3rd Party agency relationships including PR & Social.

* Responsible for marketing and communication budget, including the global media budget

* Responsible for Wholesale cooperative media budget


The candidate that secures this position will bring the following skills and attributes to the role:

* Extensive marketing & communications in the luxury sector

* Proven ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure with cross-functional teams keeping to daily and weekly deadlines.

* The ability to influence & manage multiple stakeholders relationships both internally and externally

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Good organisation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

* Ability to take an agile approach to marketing and adapt plans and activity accordingly

You must be available at short notice and happy to work in London on a daily basis.

Job Offer

15 Month Maternity cover contract.
