Have you started a career in SEO in the last few years, and are now looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for a SEO Executive to join the nation's number one motoring organisation to continue to provide a range of excellent products and services to millions of customers.

The company are looking for a driven individual to join a small, focussed team with big ambitions, supporting them with a website that covers a diverse range of content themes and uses a combination of different technologies.

As part of the new in-house SEO team, you will work collaboraively with editors, developers as well as external agencies and will collectively be responsible for delivering all aspects of the company's SEO campaigns across new business, retention and digital services.

The SEO Executive will work across all areas of SEO, including regular and ad-hoc reporting, onsite and offsite analysis and assisting with other SEO tasks. Delivering reporting in a consistent, accurate manner on time will be a key responsibility for this role - including identifying trends, opportunities and issues in data and communicating them to the wider SEO team and business units. This role will involve working side-by-side with the Digital Analytics team at times.

Main Responsibilities:

* Deliver all SEO reports on time, accurately
* Produce analysis of reports and supporting data, identify issues and opportunities and communicating them to the SEO team and business units in timely, easy-to-understand manner
* Deliver SEO work to support campaigns that meet brand targets
* Build strong working relationships with designers, copy writers and other colleagues to ensure SEO is at the forefront of their thinking and you are there to help
* Work with an external agency partner to supplement in-house SEO knowledge and resource
* Perform keyword research to inform copy and on page optimisation
* Support website technical audits and implementation of findings
* Assist with content calendar formation and delivery of new website content
* Understand and help implement the domain-wide SEO strategy
* Ensure suppliers and internal colleagues deliver reports and tasks on time to a high level of accuracy and quality
* Monitor competitor activity, promptly communicating change and quickly action any resulting changes.

Key Skills/Experience:

* Some understanding of SEO developed already, including:
* Google and Bing algorithms
* onsite optimisation
* content production and optimisation
* outreach, digital PR and linking strategies
* integration with Brand and Content Marketing
* Experience of creating SEO reports including rankings and traffic analysis
* SEO analytical skills, with some experience of analytics tools such as GA360 and GSC
* Experience of SEO tools - eg Moz, Screamingfrog and SEM Rush.
* Strong attention to detail and a curiosity about SEO are vital
* An understanding of website technologies
* A clear understanding of how search fits into the overall marketing mix
* MS Office skills - Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills - intermediate Excel skills to pivot table and IF statement level preferable
