Client Details

My clients are a leading business based in the East Midlands who are looking to grow their marketing function with the addition of a Marketing Assistant.


Description

The Marketing Assistant will be involved with but not limited to the following;

* Supporting the delivery of effective marketing campaigns/initiatives
* Helping with preparing, writing, editing, fact-checking and proofreading presentations, product display boards, press releases, case studies and other collateral
* Assisting with planning of exhibitions and other events as required
* Placing orders for print/promo items/corporate clothing/promotional banners etc
* Ensuring stock levels of marketing collateral and promotional items are always maintained and coordinate distribution to internal and external customers
* Reviewing and updating corporate templates e.g. letterheads, presentations.
* Arranging photography shoots on site where our products are being installed, and take new product photographs for website and presentation use
* Assisting with direct mail shots for customers


Profile

The Successful candidate for the Marketing Assistant role will have some marketing experience, ideally in a B2B, manufacturing environment. You will also have the following skills and competencies;

* Good awareness and understanding of the full spectrum of marketing operations
* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Creative talent and passion for design with impeccable attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal English skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
* Good communicator who can work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Able to meet deadlines under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment as part of a growing team.
* Self-motivated and able to take responsibility, working under own initiative where required.
