An exciting marketing executive role suited to a driven and intelligent junior marketer looking to forward their career at one of the UK's leading financial publications.

Client Details

One of the UK's leading financial publications, they are world renonwed for their business intelligence and varied editorial content. This sub brand of the publication provides its members with specialist insight and global knowledge to help them operate more effectively and make better business decisions.


As the Subscriptions Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include but not be limited too:

* Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, B2C Subscriptions to plan, implement, manage and analyse all print and digital marketing activity across the brand's magazines and website

* Working with the Research department; ensuring regular user, reader, subscriber insight to inform sales and marketing campaigns and improve effectiveness, product developments and value propositions.

* Working effectively with the Design & Brand Studio to ensure all marketing collateral protects the brand's integrity and always meets brand guidelines. Keeping a strategic view on all campaigns to promote one brand voice.
* Working with editorial to ensure all marketing collateral is in line with editorial strategies and priorities. Working closely with other parts of the Specialist marketing team and the wider marketing team where appropriate to ensure collaborations are carried out to drive quality reach.
* Building relationships and liaising with all external agencies working on the publication; setting realistic targets and ensuring their performance is in line with these.
* Managing campaign budgets (with support from the Senior Marketing Manager, B2C Subscriptions) with an overall understanding of how this impacts on the annual targets.
* Staying up to date with sector and industry trends (for example, changes in digital marketing) and ensure that current marketing strategies are in line with these.
* Taking ownership over their 'specialism' and share best practice, knowledge and learning's with the rest of the team.


The successful candidate will have some or all of the following:

* A proven track record in supporting the planning, implementation and analysis of marketing

* A proven track record in planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns

* An ability to demonstrate practical focus on campaign reporting and analysis

* The ability to "make a difference" by liaising with and gaining buy-in from various parties

* Meticulous attention to detail

* Excellent creative judgement and copy-writing skills

* Demonstrated ability to manage and reconcile a budget

* Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring all deadlines are met

* You are a self-starter with high energy and initiative - with the ability to manage up, down and across the organisation

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* The ability to demonstrate capability with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (including formulas, charts, graphs etc)
