The role of Commercial Strategy Director is for a leading content agency with strong backing and an attractive existing client base. They have a great platform off of which to build new accounts and grow existing ones.

Client Details

The client is part of a leading global company that launched their agency arm to service key client brands on their content needs. They work with top consumer companies and there is alot of appetite across all parts of the business to grow the agency brand. They have a main office in London and offer a great working environment.


The key responsibilities for the role of Commercial Strategy Director include the following:
Lead on market positioning strategy, developing a clear brand proposition
Use available insights to define brand and category taregtting
Work alongside wider business units on business pitches, to showcase agency capabilities
Analyse emerging trends, content activity etc. to develop clear direction in the agency's voice
Act as a key point of contact for key existing accounts
Interrogate brief strategy and creation for new client pitches


The successful candidate will possess the following:
You must have previous Agency side experience
Be degree educated
Have experience of planning client strategy
Be up to date on trends in content across consumer industries - particularly beauty, fashion and home
Have had exposure to key strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders
Able to use data and insights effectively to inform decisions
Can demonstrate ability to grow agency revenue through key strategic decisions
