I am recruiting an exciting opportunity for a talented Marketing Manager to join a leading FMCG brand based in Liverpool.

This is a pivotal role within the business to develop, manage and implement the brand strategies to drive success and market share.

My client is a leading FMCG business based in Liverpool which boasts some of the nation's favourite food and drinks brands. Innovation is at the heart of the business creating an evolving and exciting business culture.


Description

The Marketing Manager based in Liverpool will be responsible for:

* Developing, implementing and the ongoing refinement of the brand marketing plans based on consumer and market insights





* Supporting the development of the overall brand communication plans across PR, Digital and social





* Leading the development and management of trade and customer plans





* Acting as a lead pivotal point for cross functional internal and external teams in the delivery of projects





* Leading the branded NPD stream from launch to finish, including concept generation, consumer research, commercial viability, launch strategy





* Recommending and leading ongoing product and packaging changes





* Working with Senior Marketing Manager to recommend pricing and promotional strategies for the portfolio





* Working with the insight team to deliver appropriate consumer and shopper insight to deliver





* Reporting on market and business performance making recommendations for any action required


Profile

The successful Marketing Manager will have:

* Strong brand and marketing experience within FMCG industry. Experience within food would be advantageous





* Strong experience of developing and executing business and brand plans across the full marketing mix, delivering growth and proven ROI





* Solid experience in consumer campaigns across multiple channels including PR, digital, social, ATL experience would be advantageous





* Excellent project and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once





* Experience of bringing innovation to market





* Ability to lead cross functional teams and projects





* Experience of initiating consumer insight both qualitative and quantative





* Excellent communications skills and ability to present to large audiences





* Experience in P&L brand management is advantageous but not essential





* Competence in Microsoft packages and knowledgeable of Kantar/IRI/SAP


Job Offer

* Salary is up to £45,000 depending on the level of experience
* £5,300 Car Allowance
* Contributory Pension Scheme
