I am urgently looking to speak to interested candidates regarding a Marketing Manager position for a leading manufacturing business based in the West Midlands.


Client Details

My clients are a leading manufacturing business with operations throughout UK. They specialise in end to end processes across different brands and the role of Marketing Manager will be fully responsible for one of those brand across all marketing channels.


Description

The Marketing Manager will work alongside the Managing Director and the wider management team to identify profitable new product and marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities include;

* Managing two Marketing Assistants and a Product Manager
* Developing commercially viable products to meet those opportunities and manage their launch and further development
* Hands on development of literature, POS, and websites
* Manage and develop the existing product/brand portfolio
* Assist other businesses in the wider organisation with their marketing efforts as agreed with Divisional Marketing Manager.
* Ensure that business growth and profitability objectives are met


Profile

The successful candidate will have several years experience in a senior marketing position preferably in the construction sector marketing, B2B, B2Specifier and B2C.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following;

* Detailed market analysis and successfully bringing new products and services to market, and of developing existing products.
* Understand market analysis and reporting
* Be familiar with the use of social media, email and websites for marketing purposes
* Have good experience of producing conventional PR, literature, POS, printed material and exhibition work
* Have a real understanding of the function and use of CRM
* Have a good understanding and knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Good organisational skills
* Excellent commercial awareness
* Be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to deal with all levels of management and to form good working relationships with colleagues.
* Capable of working to tight deadlines and to convince others to do so.
* Have a good appreciation of the challenges faced in supplying construction products via multiple market sectors
* Active in developing the role and in providing an excellent service to senior management, sales force and customers.
* Hands-on attitude with enthusiasm for understanding the products and for conveying that to customers.
* Prepared to get involved with many aspects of the business and to be very comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
* People management skills for Divisional role plus strategic thinking expertise.
