My client, a large consumer brand based in Liverpool is recruiting a Marketing Executive to join their fast paced, dynamic forward thinking Marketing team. Key Responsibilities:
Creative input and proactive involvement in the creation of content for campaigns, including product launches, targeted incentives, promotions, and customer communications
Generate new ideas and initiatives to develop fresh content
Confidence to 'sell' your ideas and make recommendations on how marketing activity can be adapted to maximise new opportunities to drive sales and promote the business
Manage internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Source and research options for marketing and promotional collateral, obtain prices & coordinate deliveries for events
Translate briefs from Product Team and develop a plan to deliver to market
Produce and implement a wide range of high quality marketing collateral
Monitor responses and provide analysis to help measure the effectiveness of all campaigns by collating return on investment (ROI) data
Coordinate exhibitions and events activity from planning to implementation
Support sales and education teams with events/exhibitions
Conduct market research communicating upcoming changes and/or trends to senior management
Assist in audience research within the business in the way of becoming the voice of the customer and translating this back in a meaningful way
Produce case studies and obtain testimonials
Ensure marketing collateral is accurate, stored centrally and distributed in an effective and efficient way
Become a beacon of knowledge around the industry, competitors and audience
Participate in special marketing projects and other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
Educated to Degree level/CIM qualified
Must have extensive marketing experience (full marketing mix)
Strong direct marketing experience within a b2c/b2b sector
Pro-active with an ability to multi task and use own initiative to create solutions
Creative and passionate with a genuine enthusiasm for marketing
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills with great attention to detail and ability to proof read
Effective Interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to develop excellent business relationships at all levels of contact
Expertise in digital marketing, in particular email marketing and social media marketing - desirable
Creative thinker but able to use a structured approach, delivering on time and within budget
Experience of managing a range of social media channels
Have an understanding of the latest trends in creative design and marketing
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects through prioritising.
SAP Business One desirable
High level of competency in Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 services and Microsoft Office suite of programs
Proficient in the following Adobe CC Suite applications; InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop - desirable
An understanding of web development, HTML and CSS would be advantageous
Occasional weekend working to attend events, this may include national and international travel
