Temporary Marketing and Events Support/Assistant for a 12 week placement in Farnham

Your new company

This reputable Higher Education Organisation in Farnham are seeking to appoint a temporary member of staff for 12 weeks to support the team over the upcoming busy period.

Your new role

You will be supporting the current marketing team to organise and prepare for events.
You will also need to be able to provide strong administrative support for activities including, but not limited to; bookings, organising logistics, itineraries, travel and accommodation, materials, expenses/advances, risk assessments etc. Maintaining and updating internal systems and spreadsheets. You will also be providing excellent customer service to customers through channels such as email, CRM, live chat and telephone.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need strong administrative skills in order to support the Marketing Team efficiently, you must also be able to demonstrate experience of event organisation, campaign co-ordination and project management. This is a 12 week placement so you must be able to hit the ground running from day one and to make an impact on the work load for this busy team immediately.

Your administrative experience must include the ability to use Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel on a MAC. Your ability to lead and manage a range of projects, balancing a diverse range of priorities and deadlines is an important element of the role.

You will need to be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills and respond to all customers and colleagues in a professional manner. You will also need the ability to develop productive strong working relationships in a timely manner.

Previous use and experience of systems including CRM, content management and finance are desirable but not essential.
