My client is a multinational industrial manufacturing and production British based company with head offices in Guildford. Part of a global brand, the company employs over 25,000 employees across 6 continents and is a market leader in their field. Due to maternity, we are seeking the job of Digital Marketing Executive - Ecommerce on a 12 month fixed term contract to start in January.

Your new role
This a 12 month maternity contact.
This role is key to the success of the business' Online Shop, and as part of the ecommerce team your responsibility is to continually optimise the online buying journey to deliver online sales growth. The focus is on helping to improve and optimise the online shop by conversation rate optimisation (CRO), user interface (UI), customer journey, & web analytics as they look to increase conversions and revenue.

You will develop and own the optimisation roadmap, deliver a 'test and learn' approach using AB/multi-variant testing, ensuring the sales impact of change can be quantified. This role will manage the agency and internal teams to ensure accurate and effective delivery of all optimisation activities. You will actively seek out feedback from the business, and manage day to day issues with the site identified by users and operations. You will manage ecommerce optimisation projects including requirement gathering, identifying deliverables, testing the buying journey and measure impact of optimisation activities on the customer experience.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for applications from analytical digital marketers with a background in ecommerce and online sales. You will have worked with optimisation tools and have technical capability around A/B multi-variant testing. You will use your advanced experience with analytical tools such as Google Analytics , and will be highly analytical with the ability to interpret data to determine decisions and increase conversion, with a clear understanding and proven experience of segmentation and targeting.

You will need a good working knowledge of web analytics and evidence of turning insights into actions to drive sales performance, and any HTML, Javascript and CSS skills as well as CMS knowledge is highly advantageous.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £35000 - £40000 depending on your experience, and other company benefits including above-average holiday allowance for the year.
