An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Events Manager to join an exciting business within the leisure and entertainment space on a 12 month contract. This role will focus upon activating the partnership strategy through experiential events and creating, managing and overseeing project plans for consumer, trade and launch events too. This role has one direct report and therefore this is very important.

Client Details

An exciting business within the leisure and entertainment space, with a team and ambitious growth and innovation plans for 2019. There is a busy calender ahead for this Marketing Events Manager; and therefore it will be very important to have experience of dealing with tight deadlines and pressurised situations.


The successful Marketing Events Manager will be responsible for;

Creating managing and overseeing project plans for all consumer, trade and launch events

Regularly review and evaluate the events & partnership event calendar

Manage and support the Events Executive on a day-to-day basis, including setting targets, tracking progress and recognising ways to improve efficiency

Manage the consumer and trade events from concept to on-site execution

Resource & lead the events team, who are responsible for the supporting the wider event. Identify & assign job roles, communicate schedules and expectations.

Budget Management


The successful candidate will come from an experiential agency background and/or have strong experience in consumer events. Automotive, leisure, entertainment, FMCG and/or travel would be ideal.

You must have energy, the ability to hit the ground running and previous experience within line management. Team fit is very important, so strong stakeholder management skills and a positive influence will be equally important.

This role may also involve working away from home on occasion, especially around key product launches!
