My client, an international retail brand is recruiting an experienced Digital Trading Manager to join their fast paced, forward thinking marketing team. You will be responsible for influencing and maximising key customer's online business, by driving sales and identifying opportunities for significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Be the champion and owner of all online initiatives to drive sales, margin and be ahead of our competition
Optimise all aspects of web performance to drive conversion rates
Bring product and consumer insights to the wider team that have a meaningful impact on the future direction of the business
Commercial experience of all elements of digital and social marketing; Search Optimisation & PPC
Working with external and internal trading teams to develop and implement digital and trade led activity plans
Build long term relationships with key influencers within our customer's business

Have the experience and skill to influence our customer to implement our suggestions
Conduct regular in-depth analysis of our category and our competitors, providing feedback and recommendations to the wider business on aspects such as onsite merchandising, landing pages, products, depth of range and gaps, pricing, promotional messaging and execution, content, user experience
Identify and deliver commercial growth opportunities with existing products and new ranges
Analyse KPI metrics to maximise sales opportunities.

Review weekly sales data, summarising and highlighting any changes in sales patterns to relevant stakeholders in addition to providing recommendations and advising on corrective measures where necessary
Work closely with the merchandising teams, buying and marketing teams to plan online, range launches, promotions and key product themes ensuring the online execution is flawless
Keep abreast with new trends in digital technology which may be relevant to our customer
Ability to think outside the box to offer solutions to drive sales
Provide regular reports to senior management regarding department milestones and progress

Skills Required:

Educated to Degree level

Must have a strong digital background and be able to demonstrate you have increased customer sales online

Ideally have online sales experience within a retail, consumer product or fmcg environment
Customer focused with good communication, organisational and time-management skills
Excellent relationship skills, both internally & externally
Experience & knowledge of the digital/online space, evidence of growth of customers within the online space and an eagerness to keep abreast of new trends and methods within the world of digital technology

Able to communicate directly with the customer face to face, building a good rapport to increase relationships
Good Team player, with a confident and outgoing personality
Analytical & trading mentality

Salary up to £40k (Negotiable, depending on experience)
