Engagement and Communications Officer based in London paying circa £30,000

Your new role
As Engagement and Communications Officer, your responsibilities will include:

* Organising and marketing training workshops and networking events
* Creating content that is engaging and tailored to its target audience, for both digital platforms and print
* Designing, producing, and distributing email newsletters
* Editing and producing print materials
* Managing third-party suppliers and taking responsibility for marketing collateral such as membership packs and branded materials

What you'll need to succeed
Some of the skills you need to be able to demonstrate include:

* Experience of event management, including project management and budgetary control
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including writing for and understanding of different audiences and channels, and sensitivity for different cultural contexts
* Experience of editing and proofreading content for print and digital publishing
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience of using website content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress
* Experience of using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp to build emails and manage distribution lists
* Experience of achieving impact and engagement through social media communications/marketing campaigns
* Experience of creating multimedia content, including photography, video, and audio
