The Marketing Executive will be responsible for managing and implementing marketing activity and delivering marketing campaigns that promote the academic programme of events and the membership proposition.

* Implementation of targeted email marketing campaigns to promote events and conferences and a focus on improving engagement rates and online conversions
* Writing engaging and concise copy for multiple channels
* Manage the communications schedule for the organisation's event department, including utilising email automation
* Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes to reduce the volume of emails received by members and other prospects
* Identifying the key target audiences and ensuring marketing is delivered on time
* Developing relationships with external potential and current partner organisations
* Report on campaign performance - sharing results and recommending ways to improve future performance
* Working with the in-house design team to develop appropriate marketing materials online and offline (e.g. posters, meeting brochures, etc)
* Working with other functions of the marketing team (social media, digital, website) as required to promote other organisational services as required



* Experience with using an Email Marketing software (including A/B testing, creating automated/trigger campaigns and reporting is advantageous)
* Strong writing skills with experience of writing copy for email
* Experience of using a CRM - querying and extracting relevant information
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proven time management and multitasking skills
* Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships across the organisation
* Proven experience in developing relationships with external organisations and stakeholders
* Creative and proactive approach to work, identifying areas for improvements and making appropriate recommendations
* An enthusiastic team-player with a can do attitude


* Previous membership/association experience would be advantageous
* Previous event/exhibition marketing experience
