This leading regional firm is looking to recruit a Nottingham based Bid Lead on a 3 month fixed term contact basis.

The Bid Lead will lead the bids team, managing the team to ensure delivery of the team objectives, in particular ensuring that bids are focused on client need, and are developed as appropriate and evaluating their workloads, focusing on the most strategically important activity. You will be responsible Improving best practice around bids, transforming the firm's approach to bids and other sales collateral. This will include managing and developing the bid process, ensuring bids and collateral are on strategy and coaching partners to achieve success.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of the bid and tender process, ideally in a professional services environment, and strong knowledge of scoping, pitching, coaching for verbal presentations, debriefing clients and using analysis of performance to drive improvement. Able to work under pressure, demonstrating effective time and project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities, confident and credible with the ability to influence and manage key stakeholders across the business, the Bid Lead will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and will able to present and articulate to a high standard. A passion for detail is also essential.
