An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Global Consumer Products organisation for a Channel Marketing professional to commercialise sales and marketing programmes across all Channels of distribution.

Our client is a Global FMCG organisation.


The Associate Manager Channel Marketing will be responsible for commercialising the Sales and Marketing programmes across the High Street and Grocer Retail channels; identifying and executing growth opportunities and integrating the channel profile into trade marketing strategies and sales plans. In order to do this, the the successful candidate will develop the channel profile using competitive insight and market intelligence.

The Associate Manager Channel Marketing will work cross functionally to deliver sales and profits through commercialisation of Brand and Trade strategies, and plans across the channel. The successful candidate will help build trade commercialisation plans by customer in alignment with strategy, and assist with deployment of best practices with sales teams. The Associate Manager Channel Marketing will assist customer development for successful developments of JBPs, providing relevant channel business data in order to deliver an effective plan.

Gathering Market Intelligence is key to this role, and the successful candidate will be required to compile reports on market, shopper and end-user intelligence. The Associate Manager Channel Marketing will use this information to provide a Channel perspective on pricing guidance, collecting and analysing channel and regional promotion and pricing activity to ensure alignment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Brand Activation team, and both assist with and deploy new product launches and merchandising activities for the Channel.

This role is office-based in Bristol with travel 10-20% of the time.


The successful candidate will:

* Have a track record in Channel, Brand or Marketing in the FMCG sector with major retailers
* Have a track record in creating and delivering in-store channel marketing plans
* Have multichannel experience and shopper understanding
* Be results driven and analysis led
* Be ROI focused
* Have a demonstrable track record in gathering data an implementing effective channel plans utilising that data
* Have budget management experience
* Be creative, and an out of the box thinker

* Have strong stakeholder management skills

* Be a team player

* An excellent communicator

* Have a driving license

Job Offer

Up to £30,000 depending on experience
