Looking for that Marketing Manager opportunity to propel your career forward?  Looking for a business where you can truly own new brand initiatives?  In these key roles with a hugely successful global FMCG business, we’re looking for smart, results-driven, commercially-savvy marketers to join the team.  Working on one of our client’s mega brands or categories, supported by a team of 4-5 and a significant budget, your remit will be to drive UK revenue & profit growth, developing and executing effective consumer and shopper strategies in line with global brand objectives and strategies.  These roles will also include leading new initiatives for local jewel brands from innovation to comms & media planning.

Key responsibilities also include:

  • Working alongside the global Innovation, commercial and finance teas to develop and execute successful brand and communications plans that deliver financial and share growth.
  • Generating business development and growth initiatives for the brand(s) based on consumer, shopper and market understanding. 
  • Supporting the UK trade marketing team to implement store activation plans and optimize product range and promotional strategy.  
  • Coaching and developing your team to achieve persona goals and targets.

Skills checklist:

  • Excellent academics with a classical FMCG brand management training
  • Full-mix exposure including extensive involvement in brand strategy and innovation/insight work
  • Team leadership and management skills, capable of developing a team of 4-6 reports
  •  Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
  • Local, regional and ideally global brand leadership driving share, revenue and profit growth
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and push for what you believe in
  • Financial and commercial acumen, able to identify business issues/opportunities
  • A passion for entrepreneurship with the ability to think outside the box
