As Product Manager you will identify, create and deliver new products and innovation plans in line with the overall vision for a household beauty brand, both locally and globally.

Client Details

An established, successful beauty and personal healthcare company with their head office located in the heart of London.


As Product Manager your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

* Portfolio planning & delivery: create, develop & execute the NPD calendar, ensuring continuous review to maintain a consumer focused range with newness and excitement.

* Budget management: Using commercial understanding and control over costs to deliver projects within budget but also hit profitability expectations for the brand.

* Innovation & creativity: be the expert on the consumer, what they are looking for, her habits, lifestyle and concerns. Understand the competitive market place and what is changing in both the products the consumer is using, but how she is using them and shopping for them. Using all this knowledge and insight to challenge and shape the future innovation pipeline for the brand.

* Product & brand advocate: impassion and instill product knowledge both within the business but also key external stakeholders. Feed product information, key messages and samples into the marketing and PR programme, working to their timelines and enable all customer focusing staff to educate and inspire the customer. Support the international team and share the brand vision to new markets.

* End Market Liaison: Liaise closely with the end markets to ensure local needs are met and addressed.

* Management: mentor, lead and support the current ABM to assist with the new brand. Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure adequate briefing and on time delivery (e.g. research or design agencies).


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below skills and attributes:

* Comprehensive experience of managing and delivering NPD (ideally with 3rd party supplier) from concept to launch on time and on budget (essential)

* Passion and enthusiasm for beauty and specifically the specific brand consumer. General knowledge of the global beauty industry and trends.

* Experience of gifting is very useful (but not essential).

* Commercial understanding of product development and margin management.

* Knowledge of the competitive set and retail environment.
