A leading UK University based near Uxbridge is recruiting a Digital Communications Manager on an initial six month contract.

Our client is a leading UK University based near Uxbridge with excellent transport links via the M25/M4/M40 and the Piccadilly Line.


Description

The Interim Digital Communications Manager is a key role within the marketing team and wider directorate. The role holder will lead, manage and develop the Senior Digital Communications Officers in the lead up to clearing and will provide a high quality strategic service, and deliver impactful and topicial digital communications.

Working with the Deputy Head of Marketing, you will lead on the third phase of the University's digital improvement plan and will drive the brand and programme-level content ensuring consistency with offline channels as appropriate.

You will ensure assessment and performance evaluation are at the forefront for all strategic decisions and digital development. You will work in partnership with the College Marketing and Campaigsn and Insights team, and Professional Services departments to plan, prioritise and organise digital communications across multiple channels for optimal efficiency.


Profile

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with significant and demonstrable digital communications experience.

Experience of management, developing and coaching staff is essential with demonstrable experience of creating, implementing and analysing communications using a broad range of digital channels. You will need to show proven ability to direct and develop new approaches to segment, target and engage audiences identifying new appropriate digital channels.

Advising staff in producing targeted effective and compelling copy (relevant to specific target audiences) and significant experience in the use and day-to-day management of digital and social channels including Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube etc to enhance customer engagement is essential.
