This is a great opportunity to join an expanding national law firm with a focus on creating new business development propositions that can both increase the firm's London profile and attract new prospects.

Operating in a team of 15 and reporting directly to and working closely with the Director of Business Development & Marketing, the role holder will advise and support the London office and key sectors, including Retail and Leisure & Hospitality, in meeting the business development objectives set out in the firm's regional plan as well as the business development objectives of the firm's Business Units and sector groups. You will be expected to ensure these objectives and requirements are clearly communicated to the Marketing team, working closely with them to ensure activities are aligned and on-message. The Business Development Manager will execute strategies, spot opportunities and coordinate activities which help to maintain and build effective client and referrer relationships and develop new opportunities for London and defined sectors. The successful candidate will act as the internal office ambassador and champion for brand, social media and CRM and will enjoy a broad role incorporating bids, key account planning, marketing communications and events. Career prospects for the role are strong due to the team structure within a growing firm.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious and degree educated with substantial relevant experience in a professional services environment. It is also essential that the Business Development Manager possesses a strong commercial sense and is business savvy. Strong project management, leadership, influencing and communication skills are prerequisite.
