The School of Management & Marketing is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Senior Lecturer with a specialist focus in digital marketing. You will be passionate about delivering high quality teaching and research, and you will have the knowledge to shape the school’s direction by leading programmes that are contemporary, and closely aligned with a rapidly developing sector. Your expertise and experience in digital marketing may have been gained through professional industry practice or through higher education and through research.

The School hosts two very successful and well-established postgraduate courses, in Marketing Management and Marketing Communications, which attract a diverse international community.  At undergraduate level, we have three specialist-marketing degrees and a thriving Business and Marketing degree and together they form one of the largest communities of marketing students in the UK.  We are currently building a large digital marketing suite that will allow us to take our digital marketing skills and knowledge to the next level.  Importantly, we are an accredited teaching centre for the Digital Marketing Institute and the Institute of Digital Marketing and the post holder would contribute to these ongoing partnerships.  All of our programmes are continually extending and modernising their digital marketing inputs; your role is vital to securing and maintaining that leading position.

The recently formed School of Management & Marketing sits within Westminster Business School, which is based in the heart of Central London, close to global marketing communications agencies, and innovative digital marketing start- ups. Your exciting teaching projects and research activities will build on our industry collaborations and partnerships, and your work here will be part of a wider engagement that includes student internships and mentoring programmes.

The University of Westminster boasts a rich history of achievement in teaching, research and enterprise dating back to its inception as the UK’s first polytechnic in 1838. With a range of campuses – including the West End, Marylebone and Harrow – Westminster students and staff enjoy the benefits of life in the heart of one of the world’s most vibrant and dynamic international cities. The University is proud to be one the most diverse and inclusive in the UK, and benefits from exceptional relationships with the professions, business and other organisations.
