As a Social Media Manager / Digital Communications Specialist you will have experience of running social media campaigns and managing reactive social media work across a range of platforms.

Description

As a Social Media Manager you will manage the organisation's social media channels

* Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement.
* Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers.
* Manage content across all social media channels, ensuring that all posts are of high quality, are planned and co-ordinates effectively and are specifically targeted to encourage engagement from specified target groups
* Work across various teams in the development of high-quality social media content- web, content, media and campaign teams
* Oversee and deliver social media projects and campaigns, leading cross-disciplinary project teams, procuring and briefing external support and manage project delivery
* Oversee and deliver story boards, concepts, and compelling multimedia content using highly developed skills in SEO, video, graphic, animation and photographic packages
* Evaluate the effectiveness of social media, both in terms of evaluating whole channels and evaluating specific campaigns and projects, to measure effectiveness and support continuous improvement.


Profile

The successful Social Media Manager should have the following:

* A minimum of 4+ years in social media experience ideally for a national organisation
* Ideally you would have worked within health, social care or public sector
* Experience of running social media campaigns and managing reactive social media work across a range of platforms

* Proven working knowledge of social media platforms/ tools and apps from publishing, monitoring, bench marking to listening, Be highly skilled in a broad range of digital tools to a high standard - including Tweetdeck, Audiense, Canva, iMovie, Google Analytics, plus fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite including PremierPro, Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Previous experience in working with influence/ bloggers an advantage.
* Experience of analysing and understanding audiences across social media platforms
* Passionate about digital and social media
* Highly creative with excellent copy writing skills; not only writes well, but with speed and clarity
