Group Marketing Manager - Building Products

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Central London with 20% - 30% European travel

My client is a global provider in the building products space (roofing and waterproofing), harnessing a large portfolio of products and value-added services for a global client base.

Over the past 2 years, they have been on a journey of positive transformation, harmonising their brand message and marketing approach within their local (largely European) marketing teams, and translating their vision to become the global leader in their field into marketing strategies, initiatives and activities.

The Global Marketing Manager - Building Products will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategy and activation plans to enable the brand to identify, anticipate and fulfil customer needs better than the competition in the roofing and waterproofing markets.

About the role:

* Developing industry-leading marketing and product system innovation through a calendar of initiatives brought to life in a range of centrally-developed sales tool-kits.
* Playing a key role in supporting digital transformation of the business through involvement in strategic projects.
* Transforming marketing programmes from a position of communicating a range of products to that of "systems solutions" and value-added services that meet the needs of the customer ahead of the competition.
* Creating, inspiring and facilitating a customer-centric mind-set through the organisation of these initiatives.
* Facilitating high performance teamwork with all internal and external partners.
* Creating, developing and rolling-out and ongoing support for regional sales and marketing teams.
* Developing and implementing of marketing initiatives that transform the business model.
* Putting together key marketing initiatives that drive awareness of group brands/products and their range of solutions.
* Marketing team member support - both within the local marketing teams and wider business.
* Marketing agency management, including regular feedback, reviews and issue resolution.
* Agreeing and delivering SMART objectives and marketing project outcomes alongside the Group Marketing Director.

About you:

* You will thrive and be comfortable in a dynamic and evolving environment.
* You will ideally have at least 5+ years' marketing-specific experience, including a strong focus towards B2B marketing, ideally in a global or EMEA role.
* A proven team player with high energy levels and customer-centric experience.
* Strong leadership, partnering, collaboration and entrepreneurial qualities.
* Digitally skilled with practical experience across all key digital channels.
* Excellent presentation skills, written, verbal and presentation.
* A genuine entrepreneurial spirit with the drive and determination to see initiatives through.
* Outstanding stakeholder management, both inside and outside an organisation.
* Action-orientated team player with the ability to relate to people at all levels of an organisation.
* An inquisitive personality with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams against pressing deadlines.
