This is an exciting PR Manager opportunity to work with a Global Leader in their field and work across all PR channels to build upon their specialist reputation.


Client Details

Our client are an International force in their sector, they lead across all aspects of PR from thought leadership through to broadcast media.


Description

The role reports to the Head of PR and will take full responsibility for the following activity:

* Develop, implement and measure the quarterly PR plan that supports the commercial objectives for the product portfolio.

* You will write press releases based on key messaging for the product and other newsworthy issues in line with the commercial strategy.

* Working in partnership with the UK PR Manager, in order to inform the media around key wins, products and commercial achievements.

* You will also need to react to enquiries and requests from both the media and bloggers, arrange interviews, issue briefings and identify opportunities within trade media.

* You will need to establish strong working relationships with internal product teams to identify and develop news stories for the media and stakeholder communications.

* Monitoring the key trade media, including magazines, journals and blogs for opportunities; you will also edit and write features, articles, and papers for print and web-based media.

* Undertaking some media relations part of the overall communications strategy to ensure an effective approach to media relations within the UK.

* Upload relevant information to the media centre and intranet on a regular basis.


Profile

The successful candidate will have strong demonstrable track record as a B2B PR professional from either Agency or Client side.

You will have strong media relations skills with proven experience of developing and executing successful campaigns.

You will be able to make complex issues easy to understand, with the ability to establish and maintain internal and external relationships at senior level.

Excellent written and verbal skills, strong social media skills with the ability to establish and maintain networks of contacts both internally and externally.

You will be a strong team player, passionate about PR, highly organised.

You will be able to work under pressure in a busy and fast paced environment.
