Description
* Organising and delivering a programme of events (seminars) for members and partners, including all event logistics such as: finding and booking venues, programme development, liaising with speakers, marketing, logistical arrangements, financial management, event day management and post event feedback
* Being the point of contact for all delegate enquiries via both phone and email to ensure appropriate marketing and highest level of service is delivered
* Budget management and making decisions on what to spend money on
* Uploading content to the website and ensuring this is kept up to date
* Copy writing for e-newsletters, website, emails, formal invites and external advertising
* Ensuring delegates and speakers have been provided with the correct and relevant event information in a timely manner
* Ensuring speakers arrive on time, and any last minute changes are dealt with accordingly
* Communicating with venue staff and AV team to ensure they have all relevant information needed for the event to run smoothly
* Providing a professional service and responding to stakeholders within a timely manner
* Working with volunteers and other teams in developing the content and marketing for events
Profile
Essential
* Demonstrable, end to end event management experience, from the planning to post event follow up
* Outstanding organisational, planning and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver quality work to deadlines
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work comfortably under pressure within a busy environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with a variety of levels of stakeholders
* Commitment and ability to take ownership to deliver an exciting events programme
* Demonstrating a hands-on approach, a pro-active and positive attitude, and a willingness to assist other team members when required
* Familiarity with managing and keeping within budgets and post-event reporting

* Experience of working for a membership or professional services organisation
