To deliver the operational Marketing plan and manage the marketing team on a day to day basis, trasnfering the direction and pre developed plans from the Head of Marketing into efficient on time and on budget

Marketing Activity

* Manage and lead the effective on time and on budget delivery of all marketing activity from the marketing plan. Channels include but are not limited to ATL advertising, PR, All digital marketing channels, eCRM

* Ensure all key messages and priority of messages is delivered through integrated communications planning


* To work with the Head of Marketing to develop the brand position of the organisation and ensure activity is in place and to work towards becoming

* Be the brand guardian for all communications


* Work with operations and Head of Marketing to develop and deliver exceptional visitor experiences and events throughout the year

Agency Management

* Brief and manage all agencies to deliver work to support the marketing plan

* Conduct weekly updates with all agencies to keep focus on key priorities

* Report on pre-agreed KPI's for the agency on a monthly basis

* Attend monthly agency meetings with the Head of Marketing and COO to ensure direction stays on track

Digital Marketing

* Work with the Head of Marketing to increase the focus on digital and drive forward a predefined digital marketing approach

* Input in creative ideas to ensure all forms of content remain on message, on brand and resonate with the target audience


* Gather and analyse data and insight from customers and ensure the findings shared across the organisation and with the Head of Marketing and Exec to shape future plans and activity

* Provide weekly progress reports to Head of Marketing


* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a broad marketing management role

* Strong experience managing a variety of marketing agencies

* Good understanding of media buying and the modern media landscape

* Experience of having worked with above the line advertising and having monitored and reported on advertising effectiveness

* Strong ownership mentality and an innovative and creative with a proactive, problem-solving approach

* Experience using - Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and advertising platform, word press and other marketing platforms would be advantageous
* Experience of working in marketing within a retail or leisure
