An exciting opportunity has arisen at the organisation based in Essex. They are looking for a Sales & Marketing professional to join their team. Just as their attraction is unique so is this marketing role and they are looking for an original and creative individual to support this attractions continued success!

They are passionate about their beautiful Hastings town and want to share this with visitors - locals and tourists alike.

About the Role

As sales and marketing assistant you role will be to assist the General Manager to drive visitor numbers across their 3 attractions.

You will be the first point of contact for their extensive overseas group bookings and your role is to engage with group bookers, organise their visits and ensure the process from start to finish runs smoothly.

You will build links with local tourism organisations and businesses to promote Hastings as a destination. The role includes event creation, coordination and promotion.

Keeping their website and social media current and up to date is vital as is working with their digital marketing agency.

As part of their small team you will also work operationally on a shared rota basis across the 3 attractions.

This is a full time post which involves working 5 days a week and often includes working weekends and bank holidays.

The Candidate:

This is a sales and marketing role with a difference in that previous experience in this area is not essential as training and guidance will be given.

They are looking for someone who shares their passion for Hastings, genuinely likes people, happy each and every day to welcome guests into their attractions.

Strong organisational skills are required as is the ability to communicate easily in person, by email/social media and by phone.

They are a small team and they enjoy what they do and so they are looking for a team member to join them who has an infectious enthusiasm, a sense of fun, builds working relationships easily and has a positive nature and who relishes a challenge as the role can vary from day to day.
