Working closely with partners on the development and growth of sectors and markets whilst providing strategic and operational support to the business group heads, regional partners and client partners

With specific expertise in charities, health and social care, banking and finance, central, developed and local government, development and construction, education regulators, retail and leisure and social housing


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the below duties:

* Coaching and assisting the partners and other fee-earners in their market facing role

* Drive active client relationship management, working closely with the partners to develop relationships with clients and prospects that will impact revenue generation

* Take a pro-active lead alongside the partners on all pitches/ pricing requests ensuring that you maximise the opportunity through understanding clients, their drivers, best approach and deliver pitches to the highest standards

* Maintain current awareness of the issues affecting business and have the ability to think through how these will translate into opportunities

* Provide support on strategic bids including client specific tailored information and contribute to the written bid and presentation

* Strong influencing, communication, creativity and commercial skills

* Experience in business development within a professional services environment

* Line management experience

* Track record of growing new business

* Strong project management experience
