Head of Campaigns and Appeals - Salary £45-50k negotiable - flexible hours available

Your new company
An Essex based charity that offers free care to those who have a life-limiting illness.

Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, with 3 direct reports, you will be tasked with the management of income and action using Direct Marketing. This is a strategy focused role and as such, you will ensure best practice across multiple channels, projects and campaigns while ensuring key principles are set that inform the way the hospice approaches its work. You will propose new developments that support the growth strategy and prepare relevant budgets as well enhancing the performance of various fundraising streams with an ability to demonstrate how income growth will be achieved from supporters and individual giving audiences.
This is a 12 month FTC with a start date asap.

What you'll need to succeed
This a retention and acquisition based role so you will need the following to succeed:
Database marketing experience and a strong understanding of data analysis.
The ability to create appeals that engage supporters.
Extensive fundraising experience.
Proven ability to to develop comprehensive, strategic and marketing plans.
Experience of setting up and monitoring income and expenditure budgets.
The ability to identify opportunities.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills.

My client is flexible when it comes to working hours and would consider this for the right candidate - there would be an option to work from home some days of the week.
The salary is also negotiable for the right person with the benchmark set between £45k and £50k plus all the usual benefits.
